			<description>&lt;p&gt;The Idle Rocks new Cookery Breaks are receiving rave reviews and even the media are joining in!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Head chef (and General Manager), Steve Marsh, launched his &lt;strong&gt;Cookery Breaks&lt;/strong&gt; this Spring as he wanted to offer guests the opportunity to see for themselves how the fabulous food is created in the hotel's award-winning restaurant.  Steve is committed to working with local suppliers as he believes that Cornish produce is of the highest quality. His menus reflect his philosophy of keeping flavours simple and only using the best, seasonal ingredients available.&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>St Mawes Fish Festival</title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;The popular St Mawes Fish Festival is back and the Idle Rocks Hotel, perched on the harbour wall of St Mawes, is the perfect place to stay to ensure you can join in the fun. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This year's festival takes place on &lt;strong&gt;Saturday September 17th &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;em&gt;(postponed from original date of September 10th)&lt;/em&gt; and, as in previous years, will attract food lovers from all over the  country. It is organised by local chefs, restaurants and fishermen and  this year's event will feature a fish barbecue, market and a display of  the day's catch.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Of course, The Rocks head chef, Steve Marsh, will be taking part and sharing some of his fishy secrets!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;In the afternoon, from 2pm, Steve will be holding a Sardine and Mussel extravaganza at The Rocks and there will also be live music.&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As well as sampling tasty locally-produced food, visitors can also  watch the St Mawes Harbour Race, which takes place in the afternoon and  involves the beautiful and historic working boats.&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>Artist in Residence</title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Actress and writer Emma Kennedy, author of the hilarious bestseller &lt;strong&gt;&quot;The Tent, The Bucket and Me&quot;&lt;/strong&gt;, based on her childhood camping experiences, has recently completed her residency as Writer In Residence at The Idle Rocks.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Emma has starred in numerous popular TV shows, including &quot;Goodness Gracious Me&quot;, &quot;My Family&quot; and &quot;Jonathan Creek&quot; and her book &quot;The Tent, The Bucket and Me&quot; made The Sunday Times bestseller list. Emma is also currently appearing on BBC Radio 4's alternative comedy programme &quot;Richard Herring's Objective&quot;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Whilst she was In Residence, Emma worked on her latest book, &quot;I Left my Tent in San Francisco&quot;. She also met and chatted to guests about her acting and writing career and hosted a cream tea get-together, where she read extracts from her book. Emma was also on hand to give tips to any budding writers and screenwriters who were at the hotel during her stay and she held a workshop on creative writing.  During her stay, she was visited by well known writer, Grace Dent.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
