The Idle Rock's 4 self-catering St Mawes apartments are centrally located in the pretty fishing village of St Mawes, on the tip of the Roseland Peninsular.

Awarded a 5 Diamond rating by the Cornwall Tourist Board, they have been carefully appointed and tastefully furnished with one double and one twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms (master en suite) and an open plan lounge/dining and kitchen area.

All are fully equipped with dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, hob, oven, microwave, colour TV and DVD player. (A selection of DVDs is available from the hotel). 3 of the apartments offer superb views over the harbour, estuary and out to sea. Situated over 3 floors with lift access, they are centrally heated and serviced daily by the hotel.

Parking is only available in the village car park though guests can stop outside the apartment building to offload luggage.

The Idle Rocks, St Mawes Apartment Rates

The 4 apartments all have a nautical connotation in their names. Crow's Nest is on the top floor. Spinnaker and Mizzen are on the 2nd floor and these 3 apartments offer excellent water views. Compass is on the first floor and has a restricted water view.

Price is dependant on classification i.e. size and with or without view. A welcome pack offering milk, bread, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, bacon, eggs is available for stays of 7 days or more. Maid service provides fresh towels daily and linen change once per week. Shorter lets are available on request. Prices for Christmas and New year are also available on request. Dogs are welcome and are charged at a cost of £35 per week.

Directions

From St Austell, take the A390 towards Truro. Take the left hand turn on to the B3287, marked St Mawes/Tregony. Drive through Tregony and turn left at T-junction on to A3078, signposted St Mawes (12 miles). Hotel is on left hand side as you enter the village.
