Placed at the heart of St Mawes, "capital" of the Roseland Peninsular, The Rocks (as it is affectionately known) offers guests a fabulous setting with wonderful views, comfortable rooms - all of which are individually decorated - superb dining, good hospitality and space to relax and de-stress.
For much of the year, guests can enjoy the outdoors and harbour activity, from a front row position on the hotel's spacious waterside terrace. During the few colder months that Cornwall experiences, guests can seek the comforts of the lounge with its real log fire. The Idle Rocks is a year-round destination and the winter months attract visitors, many whom return year after year, in the hope of some exciting storm watching from a ringside seat!

Utter relaxation is the name of the game here - getting away from everyday life, sitting on our terrace and watching the boats go in and out of St Mawes harbour. During the winter months, this can be quite dramatic as our lounge and restaurant offer the best (and closest!) views of winter storms!
