The Idle Rocks Head Chef, Steve Marsh, is an award-winning chef whose food philosophy is to keep it simple and let the ingredients speak for themselves.  He says: "With a little imagination and creativity, Cornwall's amazing produce comes alive and sparks conversation".

He continuously develops the menu to give a different slant on yesterday's classics - always providing a varied choice of old and new, modern and traditional food, with the aim of enhancing the enjoyment of the dish. Steve's exclusive and innovative approach to fine dining has created a signature experience, with inspiring menu selections.  This has presented him with the opportunity to firmly estabish himself behind the stoves and stamp his mark.

Steve likes to share his food philosophy with other foodie fans of all ages and can be found at food festivals around Cornwall, taking part in cook-offs with other top chefs, together with giving demonstrations and tips on local produce.
