Leisure at The Rocks

Relax....

Utter relaxation is the name of the game here - getting away from everyday life, sitting on our terrace and watching the boats go in and out of St Mawes harbour. During the winter months, this can be quite dramatic as our lounge and restaurant offer the best (and closest!) views of winter storms!

Although The Idle Rocks does not have any on-site leisure facilities, such as a pool, the beach is right outside and very safe for paddling and swimming.  There is also a variety of boat trips on offer from the harbour. There's no doubt that getting onto or into the beautiful, clear Cornish water is one of the best things about a stay here!

As St Mawes sits at the tip of the Roseland Peninsular, one of Cornwall's most beautiful areas, there are plenty of other options for taking a leisurely stroll and then relaxing in a quiet spot somewhere  Much of the dramatic coastline around the Roseland was used to film Poldark, so you'll be spoilt for choice.  Read more....
