Friday 22nd December 2006

Why not join us a little earlier to relax, unwind and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in front of a roaring log fire. A table d'hote five course dinner will be served in our Water's Edge fine dining restaurant.

Saturday 23rd December 2006

An afternoon of relaxation taking your time to complete our Christmas Quiz. From 6.30pm a delicious dinner is served with a menu created by our Head Chef Damian Broom and his Brigade.

Sunday 24th December 2006

Our Christmas programme starts today with a Cornish Cream Tea served between 2pm - 5pm. From 6.30pm a delicious seasonal dinner is served in the 'Water's Edge Restaurant'. Complimentary transport will be available for those of you who wish to go to Midnight Mass at the beautiful St. Just in Roseland Church. On your return our bar will be open for those of you who wish to have a 'night cap' before you retire.

Christmas Day, 25th December 2006

One essential requirement is a walk through the lounge en route to breakfast where Santa and Mrs Claus are waiting with gifts. Breakfast is served from 8am to 9.30am. A pre-lunch cocktail is served in the lounge from 11.30am, followed by a festive Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings from 12pm to 3pm. The Queen's speech will be on air in the lounge. Why not relax in the afternoon by the fire with a good book or enjoy a selection of our board games. Alternatively, brave the sea air for a walk, meandering round the village to the castle and beyond. In the evening enjoy a sumptuous Buffet in a relaxed and informal environment followed by entertainment. A perfect end to a magical day.

Boxing Day, 26th December 2006

The motto for today is to relax, enjoy and pace yourself ready for an entertaining evening! A full English breakfast will be served from 8am til 9.30am followed by a light lunch between 12pm and 2pm. Test your knowledge to the full, and take part in 'The Idle Rocks Quiz'. Our Boxing Night Dinner will be followed by music and dancing. It's a wonderful end to the festive celebrations.

For those of you who are leaving us we bid a fond farewell to friends old and new. Those who chose to extend the festive season can look forward to more good food and wine and company. A table d'hote five course dinner will be served in our Water's Edge fine dining restaurant.

Saturday, 30th December 2006

Our New Year Programme starts today with a Cornish Cream Tea served in the lounge from 2pm to 5pm. Enjoy a delicious dinner created by our Head Chef Damian Broom served in our beautiful 'Water's Edge Restaurant' from 6.30pm.

New Year's Eve, 31st December 2006

Breakfast will be served between 8am - 9.30am followed by a light lunch between 12pm - 2pm. Why not go for a walk and build up an appetite for the Gala Dinner this evening.Whilst our dress code is smart casual, guests may wish to push the boat out a little with black tie and evening dress.The 'crew' of your ship will be uniformed accordingly with our very own General Manager Chris Swire, at the head of the 'Captains Table'. An eight course culinary tasting menu starts off a night of excellence to be followed with music and dancing to take us through to the magical hour. A champagne toast and a rousing rendition of Auld Lang Syne will ring in the start of a New Year.

New Year's Day, 1st January 2007

A leisurely breakfast will be served between 9am - 11am. An amusing time for all is up our sleeve during the afternoon, with our guest relations team plotting away with our latest Murder Mystery. A traditional Afternoon Tea will be served between 2pm - 4pm. In the evening from 6.30pm, a splendid first dinner of the New Year will be served, showcasing the team's culinary talents.
